I'm Celia, and I'm testing whether a real person with a real job can actually get rich online, and I'm documenting the whole unhinged process. This is episode one, why I am doing this and the math that scared me into it.

So by every metric that's supposed to matter, I'm fine. Yale MBA, four-year degree, 10 years of work experience in a corporate strategy job I spent years actually trying to get.

Technically, I'm living the dream, and I am more scared about my financial future than I have ever been. Here's the thing no one really talks about. Doing everything right doesn't mean what it used to.

I sit inside a large company, and I watch what AI is doing to knowledge work in real time, and I'm going to be honest with you, my job is not going to look the same in the next few years. That's just me paying attention.

So I did what any reasonable, mildly panicked person does. I decided I need to make $10 million. I said what I said. I know how that sounds.

But 10 million is the number that I've had in my head forever, the point where I stop working because I have to and start working because I actually want to.

And I figured if I'm going to get there, I might as well use the exact thing that's threatening my career to do it. What finally pushed me into actually doing something was the ads, the online ads.

I'm not sure if you've seen them, but I swear I'm getting them all the time. Passive income here, Amazon convenience store, digital products, make money online, six figures in your sleep.

All these people acting like they've cracked this code, and like it's obvious, like you're an idiot for not doing it already.

And, and I keep watching them, thinking, "Okay, but does it actually work, like, for a real person with a real job and a real level of skepticism about all of it?" So I'm gonna find out.

I'm testing actual strategies, spending my real hard-earned money, tracking what happens, and telling you the honest truth about it all.
